(Kindergarten through 5th grade)
-----------------
-
--------------------
Bible Explorers is offered using a Workshop Rotation Model for a fast-paced, fun environment. Every five weeks a new Bible story or theme is explored using various media. Children meet for a gathering assembly in the Gathering Space and then, in smaller groups by age, they rotate through weekly classes where they explore the Bible story using art, music, Bible knowledge, cooking, drama and video. Each age group has with them an adult "Shepherd", who remains a constant friendly face throughout the year.
January 8th-February 5th, 10:00-10:50 a.m.
Jesus’ baptism has become the basis of our Christian rite of baptism, so the study of this story (found in Mark 1: 9-11) will offer an opportunity to discuss the meaning of the sacrament for us in the church today. The children will get a better understanding of what happens when people are baptized in our church.

The curriculum being used for the Junior High class
this year is entitled "Dwell". It is a new curriculum endorsed by the PC
(USA). In its description, it states it is a place where young teens "...pause
to wonder...imagine... marvel...and dive into God's story." It was developed
out of a desire to provide students with less noise and more time to experience
God. " Dwell creates an environment where young teens are offered
opportunities to enter God's story, and then live into and live out of it
together."

| Senior High — Freshmen through Seniors | The Great Room |
This class is an open discussion format on issues that affect high schoolers' lives. Through their discussions, our youth learn to apply scripture to every day living.
Starting this Fall, the Senior High class will be exploring
a variety of topics from The Thoughtful Christian which will be presented
using current events and everyday experiences to discuss how they
may, or may not, help us to be more aware of what Christ wants for all of
us. Topics like: ―Mission Trips are Fun…Now What?‖, ―Being a Good
Sport‖ & ―What It Takes To Be a BFF‖ are just a start. We should also mention,
the Sr. High meets in The Great Room. This is easily the coolest place
to meet on Sunday Mornings... outside of morning worship, of course.
