| Kindergarten through fifth grade-- Bible Explorers Rotation Workshop | Gathering Space |

-
--------------------
Our elementary classes begin their Sunday morning classes by meeting together as a large group in the Gathering place where they enjoy a worship experience with Sue Thomas leading.
Next they break into smaller groups by grade level as follows: Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd and 3rd grades, 4th and 5th grades. Each class is assigned a Shepherd in addition to the teacher for that unit. In this way there is always a familiar adult to provide nurturing and guidance to the children.
Bible Explorers is offered using a Workshop Rotation Model for a fast-paced, fun environment. Every five weeks a new Bible story or theme is explored using various media. Children rotate through weekly classes where they explore the Bible story using varied media such as art, drama, games, video, and worship and music. These five workshops will enable each student to understand God’s Word through fun, hands-on experiences Because the children have experienced the Bible story in so many ways, they have a better understanding of that story.
