The 49ers

All persons over 49 years of age are welcome to join the 49ers for fun and fellowship as well as outreach and service.  Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. A no-host luncheon meeting is followed by a tour or program (flexible when necessary to adapt to a selected program.)

 

The 49ers also remember our church shut-ins with cards on special holidays and assist the Advent Dinner Committee in December. All 49er couples who attain their 50th wedding anniversary are honored with special projects at the church.  These have included planting of trees and the Patio Perennial garden, various items for the library and Golden Honorariums.

Coming Events

49ers’ February lunch will be on Tuesday, February 7th, at Grandmother's Restaurant, 4712 S. 82nd St., at 11:30 a.m.   We'll have fun, fellowship, and food.  We'll order off the menu.  Call Donna Turner at 402-397-3643 for reservations by Monday, February 6th.
