Hiking and Birding

The Hiking and Birding Club meets monthly for a morning of outdoor exploration and enjoyment. This is an informal group. At our monthly meetings members decide on a date and destination for the next meeting. Despite our name, our usual destinations do not involve strenuous hiking. We normally gather in the north parking lot at church, share refreshments and then travel to a park or other outdoor destination for more ambling and visiting.  If you enjoy the outdoors and the company of friends, be sure to check us out!

Coming Events

The Hiking and Birding Club will meet in the north parking lot on September 18 at 9 a.m. We will travel to Mahoney State Park (entry fees will apply). We will meet our friends, Jim and Diane Guerin, for coffee and rolls before our hike and afterwards join them for lunch. Please contact Tom Stalnaker at 390-9913 or 679-8642 if you plan to attend.
