Hiking and Birding

The Hiking and Birding Club meets monthly for a morning of outdoor exploration and enjoyment. This is an informal group. At our monthly meetings members decide on a date and destination for the next meeting. Despite our name, our usual destinations do not involve strenuous hiking. We normally gather in the north parking lot at church, share refreshments and then travel to a park or other outdoor destination for more ambling and visiting.  If you enjoy the outdoors and the company of friends, be sure to check us out!

The Hiking and Birding Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. on February 18th at McDonalds at 2760 S. 13th St. From there, we will cross the street to visit the Henry Doorly Zoo. All are welcome. Please contact Tom Stalnaker at 402-390-9913 for more information.
