MOPS AND MOPSnext
- There are over 800,000 members of MOPS groups in the United States, and all are Christian non-profit organizations.
- We are one of ten churches in the Omaha area and the only Presbyterian Church in Omaha to have a MOPS organization! This is an exciting adventure!
MOPS groups
- provide support and education to all moms of children from infancy through kindergarten
- are for all moms, urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms
- recognize that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
MOPS 2011-2012 programs
MOPS meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M.
The first meeting is Tuesday, September 13th at 6:00 P.M. as we kick-off the year with a light dinner for Moms and kids.
- Child care will be provided weekly.
- There is a MOPS membership fee of $23.95 The fee provides resources, leadership training and scholarships for MOPS members.

WHAT IS MOMSnext?
- MOMSnext is a ministry to mothers of school-age kids, providing community that grows with them as they mother. It’s an outreach program that focuses on the unique needs of mothers of school-age children .
- MOMSnext will meet at the same time as MOPS, sharing
Our MOMSnext group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday night of the month, from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. during the same time that the MOPS group meets sharing speakers, mission projects, and activities while dividing into two separate groups for discussion. - We are excited to begin a new MOMSnext group this fall and hope you will plan to be a part of it!
