Mission for All Nations (MFAN)

John Bennett — Coordinator

Mission For All Nations is a faith-based charitable organization founded to put Love into Action by providing food, clothing, shelter and other necessities to people of all ethnic backgrounds who are in need. MFAN provides more food distributed directly to clients than any other pantry in the state of Nebraska.

Members from Presbyterian Church of the Cross participate in stocking the MFAN pantry by hosting our own “Pantry Sunday” on the third Sunday of each month. Reminder bags for collecting groceries are handed out after worship every second Sunday of the month and then food stuffs are returned in those bags every third Sunday of the month. We also participate annually in the MFAN “Stuff a Truck” campaign to stock the pantry.

Volunteers are needed every month to participate in Pantry Sunday; all you need to do is take a bag after worship on the second Sunday and return it on the third Sunday full of food. Volunteers are also needed to hand out reminder bags and to take collected items to MFAN. If interested, contact John Bennett.
